Donate materials to the Museum

The New England Civil War Museum seeks to preserve objects to enrich the knowledge and study of the American Civil War Era. The collection includes an array of materials such as Federal, Confederate, and civilian accoutrements, weapons, photographs, prints, manuscripts, and uniforms.
Offers of donations to the permanent collection are welcome. A rigorous selection process on the part of the museum's staff is in place to ensure items with historical significance or unique contributions to the institution's mission are accepted into the collection.

To donate to the collection, please submit information about the objects in the below form, or contact us at info@newenglandcivilwarmuseum.com with the subject line 'Object Donation'.

We kindly request that potential donors refrain from dropping off items at the Museum unless specifically instructed to do so by a Collections staff member.

We do not accept walk-in donations.
